I’ve seen several posts already on this product and I thought I’d tried it myself since it’s highly praised. This product claims to

- Perfect for all hair types
- Replaces lost protein
- Protects the natural keratin in hair
- Protects against heat
- Restores hydration balance
- Detangles, defrizzes & adds shine
- Strengthens hair structure
- Seals cuticles for extra silky hair
So last summer I did this crazy thing and got my hair dyed with some pretty blonde highlights (picture below)
In the picture above if you look at my ends you can see how damaged my hair got. In fact all of my hair was damaged. After a couple of months of dying my hair like this, I went back to brunette.
The picture above is my hair around November, the time I started using the It’s a 10 product. From the picture with the highlights and the one above, my hair had grown about an inch. I cut about an inch of it off and started using the product about 2-3 times a week.

I feel like this product definitely helped my hair, especially the ends. My ends were extremely dry and beyond repair when I first started using It’s a 10. I am not saying that the product completely repaired my hair, because it didn’t. The fact that I had to cut my damaged hair also helped when using this product. NOTE: I didn’t notice a difference in my hair until several months. The product smells amazing, and it does help untangle your hair. I did notice my hair started to look a bit healthy when I used It’s a 10. Overall I would recommend this product to people who have damaged hair, I would just warn you to not expect a miracle over night it’s not going to happen that fast. I think you can tell a major difference from when I first started using this product to what my hair looks now. Also I have to mention that I used very minimal heat to my hair over the past months, I think that helped a lot to repair my hair!
I hope this review of this over hyped product truly helped. I know it’s been reviewed so much, but I just wanted to share my results. I do think it’s worth a try!
