Today is the day! The beauty community has been waiting for years of the launch of Rihanna’s makeup line. The superstar worked on her collection for two years and launched foundations, concealers, highlighter duo’s and more!
I went to my closest Sephora and played with the collection. I purchased two items from the collection that I’d like to share with you.
I picked up her Universal Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer and her Killawatt highlighter duo.
The packaging promises “addictive shine, nourishing wear.” The gloss is a gorgeous shimmering rose nude. You can wear it alone or on top of a lipstick. It does have a beautiful peach-vanilla scent. I did noticed and LOVED the XXL wand it came with. One swipe and you have a full application on the lips.
This is how the gloss bomb looks alone. It has a nice shimmer, and a nice thin moisturizing feel on the lips.
I can’t get over her highlighter duo’s, they’re my favorite thing out of her entire collection. They were beautiful and creamy. The formula is so smooth and not chalky at all. You can use these on the eyes, lips and cheeks!
I picked up the duo in Mean Money/Hu$la Baby . The packaging is gorgeous too! The gloss bomb comes in a beautiful rose gold packaging. The highlighter duo’s come with a mirror in a white octagon packaging. If you place the packaging in the light you will see purple specks of glitter on the white packaging.

Pictures do not give these highlighters any justice, they can be blinding but also subtle depending how you apply them. I’m so glad Rihanna came out with these highlights they’re worth the purchase. I noticed that all her products were well thought out and not rushed at all. She took her time thinking about all the different skin colors and all the different women who would purchase her cosmetics. She came out with 40 foundations and I did try my shade on. I noticed the formula was a semi-matte formula and felt very thin on the face. The only reason why I didn’t pick it up is because of my dry skin. I think people with oily skin would enjoy her foundation.
