My skin over the recent years has transformed from normal combination to dry. Every time I buy any makeup now I look for the keywords like “dewy or hydrating”. Anything to give my skin a boost of hydration, I want to try.

I went to Target and I found the Pixi Hyrdrating Milky Mist. They have different mists and the milky hydrating one seemed perfect for me to try. Let me just say again, my skin is SUPER dry, like Sahara dry. I get white patches on my face if I don’t moisturize.

I’ve been trying the mist for a couple of weeks, and I can say I like the mist but not enough to repurchase. I love the packaging and smell it has, but for $15 I feel like I get better hydration with my $7 Mario Badescu Facial Spray. Pixi has 2.7 fl.oz and Mario Badescu has 4 fl. oz.

When you apply the Pixi mist you do feel a mist of hydration at first. I don’t feel any kind of moisture in my skin. I was disappointed by this product, especially because it looked like a promising product. I’m still going to use what I have left of the product but I won’t be re-purchasing again.

If you have dry skin, I don’t recommend this product for moisture. If you’re looking for something to refresh your skin you will like this mist.
