I’ve been MIA these couple of weeks, and I apologize for that. I haven’t been posting as I regularly do, and it saddens me. I am halfway through my busiest and hardest semester of college. I don’t know what I was thinking when I signed up for two math courses, two science courses and a writing course all together in one semester. Back to this post, I recently purchased Viva Glam Rihanna 2 which was very unexpected for me to do. The reason why is because when I saw the promotional ads of the lipstick, I completely hated the lipstick color. When I went to the Mac store I was looking into purchasing a new lipstick from the Matte Lip collection. The Matte lip collection has beautiful shades, but sadly the shades I desired did not compliment my skin tone.

So I went to the MAC counter and I decided I should give the lipstick a try. The makeup artist mentioned to me that he prefers the lipstick pared with a different lip gloss than the Viva Glam 2 gloss, so I decided to try his recommendation. I immediately fell in love with the new color it re-created. I just purchased the lipstick and decided to wait on the lip gloss. I went back for the lip gloss but I couldn’t convince myself to pay $20 for a creamsheen lip gloss I probably wasn’t going to use. So, here are my experimental ways of using Viva Glam Rihanna 2! I hope you guys like it as much as I do.
The lipstick by itself 
Not a lot of people will rock this shade, and to be honest I’m afraid to wear it alone.
This lip combo is the exact dupe of that one lip gloss from Mac that I did not purchase for $20.00. This lip combo is one of my favorites that I created. I used Viva Glam Rihanna 2 with Rimmel London Stay Glossy 3D gloss in 303 Candy Floss.
This next lip combo was created with of course Viva Glam Rihanna 2 lipstick with L.A Girl lip glaze in pin-up.
This last lip color was my favorite of all the lip colors I experimented with. I used Viva Glam Rihanna 2 with a gold Milani lip gloss. The lip gloss is quite old and it’s from an old collection called Lip Mixer. The name of the gloss is called “Lip Mingle”. I’m pretty sure you can use any gold lip gloss and you will have a similar look to the one I created.
