Rihanna released her second single off her eighth studio album “Bitch Better Have My Money” digitally on March 26 . BBHMM is a step down musically and lyrically from her first single featuring Paul McCartney and Kanye West in “FourFiveSeconds“.

Joy Williams released her debut single off her upcoming solo album since the departure of The Civil Wars. Williams’ single titled “Woman (Oh Mama)” is available on Itunes and Spotify streaming. There’s no doubt in the incredible voice Joy has, but I can’t help but to miss her harmonizing with John Paul. With this single, you can’t help but to notice his departure. There’s something missing and there’s no doubt about that.

Alesso released his newest single “Payday” off his debut album “Forever” set to be released on May 26. Alesso is no stranger to hits, working with DJ Calvin Harris and Swedish singer Tove Lo with his hit single “Heroes”.

Hilary Duff released her new single “Sparks” April 7th. Duff has hinted to her fans of a comeback album for a couple of months now. Hilary’s last album “Dignity” was released in 2007. Sparks is a bubbly dance/pop song that has the potential of being a hit on the radio. Hilary Duff’s “Sparks” was a writing collaboration with Swedish singer and songwriter Tove Lo.

Major Lazer is a music project by talented DJ producer Diplo. As if Diplo didn’t have enough projects (Jack U) a project with Skrillex and his solo music as it is. “Lean On” is a song that Diplo worked with French DJ, DJ Snake.

DJ Snake makes this Music Monday post twice. Above with Major Lazer and one on his own with electronic dup AlunaGeorge. AlunaGeorge released “You Know You Like It” back in April 2012, DJ Snake remixed the song and made it even more awesome. DJ Snake is quickly becoming one of the best producers out there working with Lady Gaga and releasing some of his own hits like  “Turn Down For What” and a collaboration will fellow DJ Dillon Francis “Get Low” which is also in The Fast & The Furious 7 soundtrack.

The Fast & The Furious 7 motion picture soundtrack includes a very touching tribute song to the late Paul Walker titled “See You Again“. The song is performed by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth. The song quickly became a Top 10 single in the United States after its release.

Zedd released his album artwork for his sophomore album titled “True Colors” available May 19. True Colors will be available for pre-order today April 13, 9pm on Itunes. When you pre-order the album you will receive the opening track of the album titled “Addicted To A Memory” featuring girl group Bahari. I listened to the song and holy crap it’s amazing. Anything Zedd does is amazing. The song is different and unique which gives us a sneak peek into what we will be hearing for his new album. The track “Addicted To A Memory”  seems like Zedd’s Hourglass, a great opening song but not radio friendly compared to his first single “I Want You To Know” featuring Selena Gomez. I enjoyed both I Want You To Know and Addicted To A Memory and I can see why people are saying Addicted To A Memory is better. The new song has a lot of emotion to it, and the drop is pretty amazing. IWYTK is a fun club song that is radio friendly and that is enjoyable by almost everyone.

Other songs that are worth listening to are: Twenty One Pilots- Tear In My Heart and Kaskade’s “Never Sleep Alone
